Thank you for your interest and I hope you will find the information here helpful as you think about how to cast your vote in the May election.

I was elected to the Scottish Parliament for the first time in May 2007 and I am very proud to have been unanimously re-selected as the SNP's Candidate for the new Almond Valley Constituency.

Over the past four years it has been a great privilege to represent the area I grew up in and to be part of the first SNP Scottish Government. It has been an honour to assist the many individuals and organisations who have approached me on the matters of importance to them. As a lifelong Nationalist, I have always believed that community comes first and that an independent Scotland will be better able to serve and strengthen its communities.

If I am re-elected my first priority will continue to be making sure that the voice of the people of West Lothian is heard.

Following boundary changes, the Livingston Constituency will cease to exist and, from May this year, the new Almond Valley Constituency will take in: Addiewell, Bellsquarry, Bents, Breich, East Calder, Fauldhouse, Kirknewton, Livingston, Loganlea, Longridge, Midcalder, Polbeth, Pumpherston, Seafield, Stoneyburn, Uphall Station, West Calder, and Wilkieston.
